Konek IX

Connection Prerequisites:

• ASN: You must have your own public Autonomous System Number (ASN)
• IP Addressing: You must possess at least a /24 block of IP addresses assigned by a recognized Internet Registry (like APNIC)
• Hardware: You need a router capable of BGP peering with a port speed of at least 1Gbps

Traffic & Port Rules:

• MAC Addressing: Only one MAC address is allowed per port (MAC locking). Traffic from other MACs will be dropped to prevent broadcast storms
• Allowed Traffic: Only specific Ethertypes are permitted:

• Prohibited Protocols: Proxy ARP must be disabled. Most link-local traffic (like CDP, LLDP, OSPF, DHCP) is not allowed, with the exception of ARP and IPv6 ND
• Congestion: Ports must not be congested. If a port's 99th percentile usage exceeds 90% of its capacity (e.g., 900Mbps on a 1G port), it may be subject to a mandatory upgrade

Liability & Responsibility:

• Members are responsible for their own equipment and must arrange suitable insurance to cover it, including third-party liability
• Konek IX (KIX) is not responsible for any loss, damages, or illegal activities performed by its participants
